The Centre for Intermediality Studies in Graz (CIMIG) welcomes international guest scholars every year.
The breadth of topics presented by visiting scholars reflects the interdisciplinarity of the field, which also surfaces in the cross-departmental course offerings by guest scholars. While guests seek to converse with CIMIG colleagues and to make use of our library resources, scholars and students in Graz benefit from exchange and collaboration with incoming national and international guests.
Guest lectures, classes, and public events contribute to fostering in-depth exploration of different theoretical approaches and research areas in intermedial issues.
Through conferences and workshops, the CIMIG seeks to foster networking for students, young scholars, and seasoned academics. Furthermore, the center collaborates with off-campus organizations focused on arts and media in order to enhance the visibility of intermediality research and to illustrate its broader significance for understanding forms of expression through various intersecting arts and media.
