Course Offerings
Within the framework of current curricula, faculty and staff members of CIMIG teach courses with an intermedial focus. In addition to an “Introduction to Intermediality,” which is offered at least once every academic year and which is open to students of various fields of study, we also provide courses (upper- and lower-division seminars, lecture series, doctoral colloquia) on specific topics of intermediality studies. Visiting scholars from Austria and other countries contribute to the expansion and internationalization of our academic program by giving guest lectures and participating in classes. With its range of courses taught in English, the CIMIG contributes to making the University of Graz an attractive destination for exchange students interested in intermediality studies.
The English/American Studies Library is an important service facility for scholars and students of the Department of English Studies and the Department of American Studies. The collection also focuses on Intermediality.
The main library contains literature holdings from all subject areas. It is a public, scientific library with large stacks and open access collections.
